The songs of our ancestors are also the songs of our children.
Philip Carr-Gomm, The Druid Way
A Seed Group can be formed by any member at any point in their studies. Each group is likely to be different, and they are designed to be informal and relaxed - giving members the opportunity to meet and meditate together, and to discuss the course, Druidry, and topics of mutual interest. Many groups celebrate the seasonal festivals together, and to attend a Seed Group you do not necessarily need to be a member of the Order. A Grove, by contrast, can only be formed by at least two members who are in the Druid grade. Then they are able to perform initiations for members into all three grades.
Members receive a full listing of all Seed Groups and Groves when they join. Some groups prefer not to be listed on a website. Here you will find details of OBOD Seed Groups throughout the world who are happy to be listed, divided into world regions. If you wish to have your Seed Group added please contact the Groves and Groups Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org
