The 2001 OBOD Annual Assembly took place at Glastonbury and Stonehenge on 16th and 17th June. The purpose Was to hold ceremonies to mark Alban Hefin (the new name for Alban Heruin, the Summer Solstice) at the two sites, and for a general gathering of members of the Order to hold Groves in the different grades, for an eisteddfod, and to meet to review the previous year's events.
