Winter Solstice 2015 ~ 22nd December 2015, 4:49 GMT

At our Winter Gathering in Glastonbury on 5th December, it was a great honour to be welcomed by the first mayor of any town to declare themselves an openly practising Druid, Denise Michell. Here is an edited extract from her welcoming speech:

An amazing new magazine was launched earlier this year by OBOD members – Druid: On Being an American Druid. And now the Fall edition has just come out – it’s free, it’s online and in full colour, has embedded video, and this edition is packed – with 97 pages of great contributions from around the world.
